St. Patrick's Day Table Talk
Roll the prayer cube for the prayer or use this one from St. Patrick
May the Strength of God pilot us. May the Power of God preserve us. May the Wisdom of God instruct us. May the Hand of God protect us. May the Way of God direct us. May the Shield of God defend us. May the Host of God guard us. Against the snares of the evil ones. Against temptations of the world
May Christ be with us! May Christ be before us! May Christ be in us, Christ be over all! May Thy Salvation, Lord, Always be ours, This day, O Lord, and evermore. Amen.
Fifteen hundred years ago a man named Patrick was kidnapped and made into a slave in Ireland. He eventually escaped and went back to England. But later God called him to go back to Ireland and tell the people there about Jesus. Many people became Christians because of Patrick's preaching and that's why we celebrate St. Patrick's day today.
Do you think you could do what Patrick did and return to the people who had made you a slave and place from where you had escaped? What other kinds of hard things has God asked people to do?
