CIC’s Updated Building & Worship Guidelines
Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Community in Christ Lutheran Church has sought to follow the restrictions, guidelines, and recommendations of the Centers of Disease Control (CDC), the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, and the North Carolina Synod. In keeping with the new guidance issued by the CDC on February 27th, and out of love and care for one another, the following policies apply at CIC,
Effective March 6th, 2022:
Sundays:

9 am & 11 am Worship – Masks are optional for all volunteers, worship leaders, and worshipers based on individual health needs, guidance, risk tolerance, and comfort level. Other mitigation techniques remain in place.

10 am Youth Sunday School – All students, teachers, and attending parents are asked to mask for the Sunday School hour as guidance for the PreK age group has not changed and our program crosses over age groups.
Midweek Services & Groups:

Masks are optional for all volunteers, worship leaders, and worshipers based on individual health needs, guidance, risk tolerance, and comfort level.

May we strive to extend an abundance of grace to one another as our choices and preferences for how to manage during this season of life vary for a range of reasons.

We will continue to monitor and review public health information and synod recommendations and adjust our gathering protocols accordingly.
