Regathering Guidelines

CIC’s Updated Building & Worship Guidelines

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Community in Christ Lutheran Church has sought to follow the restrictions, guidelines, and recommendations of the Centers of Disease Control (CDC), the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, and the North Carolina Synod.  In keeping with the new guidance issued by the CDC on July 27, and out of love and care for one another, the following policies apply at CIC, effective August 8th, 2021:

  • The use of masks is now required in the building, including those who have been fully vaccinated.

  • Holy Communion will continue to be brought directly to worshippers wherever they are seated.

  • Please be cognizant of the distance you give to the people you are seated around.

  • Vaccination for COVID-19 for those who are eligible (currently anyone 12 years of age and older) is highly recommended. Science is a gift from

God and the vaccines are proven to be effective in lessening the symptoms and spread of COVID-19.

  • All existing safety precautions during worship remain in place.

  • As always, if you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID, please stay home and follow our live-streamed worship services.
