We offer a variety of pastoral services at Community In Christ and are always available to discuss in person to be sure we understand your needs. Below are a few descriptions of services offered and information that may be helpful to you.
Weddings
The Pastor is happy to perform weddings for members of Community in Christ Lutheran Church. All others will be determined on a case by case basis. Please contact pastorlisa@communityinchrist.net or pastormichael@communityinchrist.net for more information.
All couples being married at CIC will be given the opportunity to go through three pre-marital counseling sessions. Currently we use the Prepare/Enrich material. The cost for pre-marital counseling is $35.00 for the curriculum. A typical honorarium for the presiding pastor is around $250.00. The fees for our church musician run between $250-$325. There is no charge for use of the church, but both the rehearsal date and wedding date need to be reserved through our church secretary.

Baptisms
Baptism is God's work of welcoming people of all ages into the Christian family. In baptism we are united to Jesus and share in his life and the promise of resurrection.
To schedule a baptism call the church and speak with the pastor. The pastor will find a time to sit down with you for a time of teaching and preparation. When you're ready, please fill out the attached form.
Funerals
Funerals can be arranged by contacting Pastor Lisa or Pastor Michael at 704-892-0120.
Please contact Pastor as soon as possible to make arrangements.
