At Community in Christ our small groups are called "Aspen Groups." They meet twice a month in people's homes and focus on discussing the sermon, Sunday’s scripture, checking in with each other and praying for one another. We call them Aspen groups after the largest organism on earth, an Aspen grove near Fish Lake, Utah. What looks like a forest, is actually one organism connected through a common root system. We want our small groups to be like that, individual groups connected through a common worship and congregation.

Our Aspen groups have two sessions per year which is the natural time to join one. You can see the list of Aspen groups here and contact the leader to join. You'll need to create a log-in using the email address the church has on file. We also plan to add additional groups each session as the congregation grows.

Community in Christ Lutheran Church

At Community In Christ Lutheran Church we have many opportunities to gather together in fellowship. Our Aspen Groups offer a wonderful way to connect in small groups to discuss a variety of topics that help build strong relationships while studying God's word.

If you are interested in joining a small group please reach out to Carol Swing at carol@communityinchrist.net.  Carol can help you find the group that best meets your needs whether it is location, time or date or topic of study.  All groups are accepting new members. With our CIC Aspen Groups there is something for everyone. If you don't see what you need, just ask.  It's as simple as that.
