Worship is orienting our entire lives to God in response to his mercy. As Paul writes in Romans 12 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship.”
At Community in Christ we view worship as if we are on stage and God is in the audience. He is the one who is the recipient of our praise. Our worship styles may vary, but our focus remains the same. At every worship service we pray, sing, read scripture, preach from the Bible, celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion, respond with our tithes and offerings and are sent out to do God’s work in the world. Everyone who is baptized and believes in Jesus is welcome to recieve Holy Communion.
